To provide underprivileged children with free, new books to level the playing field, make them excited about learning, and ultimately get them “hooked” on reading.
Working in conjunction with Tallahassee Pediatrics, our program aims to provide medicaid patients from birth to age five with a new, age appropriate book at every wellness checkup. This provides every child with roughly 13 books during their time in our program. We hope that by providing these books, families and children will engage with them, allowing the children to develop their linguistic skills on pace with their peers.
